SxPF is here to advance, promote and encourage club photography in Sussex. This page contains general information about the Federation and what we do.
Membership is open to ALL camera clubs and photographic organisations in Sussex.
Two inter-club competitions are run each year, in November and March for traditional slides and prints respectively. All member clubs are entitled to enter both competitions, and take turns on an organising rota.
We aim to maintain a directory of speakers and judges working in the county. This is currently in the process of being recompiled. We also occasionally run training seminars for judges and speakers, and networking meetings for programme secretaries to share information and experience.
We recognise the wide geographic diversity of clubs in the county, and that member clubs are affiliated to the PAGB through the KCPA, SPA and SF. SxPF is itself affiliated through KCPA.
The Annual General Meeting is held after the November competition and is open to a representative from all affiliated clubs.
