SxPF Print Championship POSTPONED
Dear Member Clubs
It is with regret that we have to announce that the SxPF Print Championship scheduled for 21st April 2018 is being POSTPONED
Owing to family circumstances, Paul and Sonia Dunmall will be unable to devote time and energy to SxPF over the forthcoming couple of months.
The Print Championship is a large event, difficult to organise and requires dedicated resources in the two months leading up. We currently do not have the scope to run the event without Paul and Sonia, neither is it possible to bring others sufficiently up to speed in the relatively short time available.
What this highlights is that SxPF continues to run with a very small team, and if anything takes more than one of us out of the picture, then the situation is immediately critical. We have some very good things planned for the Federation, details of which will follow very shortly. But in the circumstances we have no option but to postpone this event.
The £10 event fee that is charged as part of the SxPF affiliation will be credited to a future event or to next year’s subscription.
Please would you acknowledge receipt of this email on behalf of your club and make sure that the correct people in your club are aware. And out of respect for Paul and Sonia’s privacy for the time being, please would you direct any SxPF queries to me and I will arrange for one of the committee to get back to you.
The Club Judging seminar on 3rd March will go ahead as planned. If your club has not yet responded, please would you let me know by the end of this week whether you would like to send any participants.
With best regards
… Ken Scott
